GOLF SIXES

The Golf Sixes squads have seen a busy schedule over the first part of the summer. The format is perfect for the less experienced golfers with in the section with most having their first taste of team golf, sometimes their first taste of on course golf. Most of the squads only took up golf in April and its been fantastic being able to watch them learn and play together on the courses.

Mixed matches and girls only matches have taken place at Belton Woods, Woodhall Spa, Spalding, Sleaford and Burghley Park, with 19 different junior girls and boys taking part.

FRIENDLY MATCH v THORNEY LAKES - AWAY

Thorney match.PNG

This fixture saw a return match against a Thorney Lakes team who visited Belton Woods earlier in the year. A great opportunity to mix a few established faces with some juniors new to this type of golf. Thorney were very welcoming hosts for this friendly fixture and a good time was had by all.
